A vessel that holds more than one thing, open on both ends - moves and finds its balance again and again.

Like in our debut s-w collection, in Vessel, we return to bending steel to express finding softness in hard materials. The geometry of this piece is a spiral that gradually moves forward. It's only a line, but one that is dynamic and in motion. If the flower on one end droops, it moves and regains its balance gracefully. Vessel brings poetry and movement to your space, adapting to your arrangement, whether delicately balancing between stalks of flowers on either end or forming a dramatic asymmetry with blooms on just one side.

In sketches developing Vessel, we explored how it could move, bend, and balance between two points, and a resemblance emerged with the Malayalam alphabet, Utharaa’s native language. It's the first of what will be a series of bent steel sculptural vases developed from these explorations.
